International Summer Camp in Canada


Visit to Quebec city and an Amerindian village
Classified by UNESCO as "A world heritage treasure".
Mont-Tremblant-Quebec City 240 miles - 380 kilometers

Tuesday:

  • Departure after breakfast.
  • Picnic lunch on the way on the bank of the St-Laurent River.
  • Visit to the Montmorency Falls on the outskirts of the city (higher than Niagara Falls).
  • Visit to the Museum of Civilization. A team of animator/guides will interpret the collection using dynamic, interactive approaches.
  • Walking tour in the Old City (oldest city in North America).
  • Accommodation in the local HI hostel.

Wednesday:

  • Attendance to the traditional military ceremonies of the Changing of the Guard at the most important fortification built in Canada under British rules.
  • Visit to a reconstruction of a traditional Amerindian village. During lunch discover the traditional  cuisine.
  • Shopping and ice-skating in summer at a shopping center.
  • Buffet dinner on the way back (all you can eat) and return to camp.

To maintain a high level of security and comfort we use air-conditioned minibuses for all the optional trips. Two experienced counselors take care of a maximum of 15 participants. 10% of campers participate in any field trip. All other campers stay at camp and participate in regular camp activities.
